Of course, it’s inspired by my favourite books 🙂

I’ve been experimenting with a dip pen and ink.
I have to say, it’s way less terrifying than it was back in my school days. Perhaps the pen is better? Or the ink thicker?
At least until now, I haven’t had any of those soul-crushing ink blobs on nearly finished pieces!

For this piece, I used a separate sheet for the colours, and then I joined the two layers digitally after scanning. This gives me more freedom to experiment with colours, or redo them later.
