Swedish summers are short but magical, and I’m feeling so incredibly lucky and thankful. Especially since Mogwai is such a happy pup.

Last summer she had to take it slow because she had hurt her knee. I was afraid it would be her last summer swimming or playing, but she’s really going for it this year- and everything without limping. At this age, every day together is a gift, and we make the best of it.

Snacking raspberries and peas in the garden, and the apple trees also look very promising.

Lots of swimming and some reading in the hammock. We’ve never had this little mosquitoes, very comfortable!

The quest of the summer: Medieval and Viking reenactments.
I had no idea these could be so fun and the people would be so nice! I’ve been practicing my Swedish and learning a lot.

On the goat/sheep farm I got a whole bag of freshly shaved wool. Mo was over the moon with my catch 🙂

Another event very much out of my regular habitat: Modified cars run.
In general, I have very little to no interest in cars, but I had a great time cuddling with pups, enjoying the colours, looking at people, and feeling every atom in my body vibrate on the intense beats produced by one of the cars :-D.

Summer is also the time of working in and around the house.
– drainage works + restoring the garden at home.
– new stairs at the studio
– trimming trees
– and hopefully we’ll get to painting the facade of the studio again too- it really needs a fresh layer of Falu red!
