Gingerbread houses are fun but since there is a limit to how much one can eat during the holidays, we made one out of cardboard last year. And this year we ‘renovated’ an old bird feeder :-). While all dogs are mostly fascinated by the squirrels, I’m also super happy to see all the birds going wild on nuts and seeds. This year we don’t get to see much action from woodpeckers but we got to see some others instead like the Eurasian Jay which I hadn’t spotted before.
