Studio photos, it’s been a while since I’ve featured those on this blog! The reason? More than one to be honest. On the one hand, part of my studio material is still in Belgium and most of the assignments are about outdoor photography, on the other hand, I enjoy being outdoors and outdoor photography so much that I didn’t feel the need to set up a studio. Until there was an assignment that included both outdoor and studio work. That was the perfect reason to show up at the importer of studio material in Stockholm, to choose the right color background and of course to make a few shots for myself. Especially Oona got a lot of attention as I didn’t have much studio shots of this little raskal 🙂
What I captured here is mostly things we are training on so that it felt as natural as possible for Oona despite the flashes and the unknown feeling of the backdrop. The cardboard box, the rubber bone, a toy, all things that we use to work on body awareness (because she had none) and new tricks. And she loved it! I had the camera in one hand and the clicker in the other, the jar with cookies was next to me.
I really didn’t expect this much cooperation and enthusiasm. Oona just kept going, even inventing her own tricks. Eventually, we stopped because she really had enough cookies. After the shoot, this little devil was sleeping like a baby! The only noise we heard for the rest of the day was snoring 🙂
