When I got a code from Printrbook to try out their program to turn your Instagram feed into a petite photo book I was very curious how it would turn out. My e-mail with concerns about not having high-resolution images on my feed got a quick and clear response: given the small size of the book, the quality of my images should be ok. 🙂
I logged in on the website and found out that making these books is super easy. All you need to do is selecting the images you want in your book, choosing a cover + title and deciding whether or not you want captions added too. I choose only images to keep it clean and simple.

Then the waiting started.
Printing and delivering here up north took about 2 weeks and of course I asked Mogwai to assist me when opening the envelop 🙂

And there was this cute little book, filled with memeries of our adventures together! I especially chose some extra with Ziggy on since it’s still very difficult for me to go through her old photographs. For months now I have empty frames on my wall, waiting for these moments to be printed. Creating this book made the choices easier. The images all showed up in a gallery and I just had to select them. I know this photo wall will eventually get the pictures it deserves, but I guess I need a bit more time.

One feature that I missed while creating this photo book was the option to add an extra photo (or photo’s) that are not on Instagram. But on the other hand, keeping it this simple makes it for everyone possible to create a little treasure with memories.
I think these little books could be lovely gifts, great memories and perfect to have some images nicely printed. If you;re a bit like me, most of the photogrpahs end up on social media while back in the days we printed every single one of them, made photo books or hung them on the wall. I want that back and therefore I started the photo wall, hung some polaroids of friends and family and printed a few canvasses too. All these moments are way to precious to just leave them somewhere in zero-one-land.

So thanks again Printrbooks!
