How is the weather where you live? Are you in an eternal winter just like us or already celebrating the first signs of spring?

After a few slightly ‘warmer’days, it’s colder again with temperatures around -10*C. It has been freezing for months by now but only this weekend it really felt cold. How come? Because of the wind! It can be freezing with for example -6*C but feeling like spring (last week I went out without a jacket). But the same -6*C with wind feels like an expedition on the North Pole.

Our plan for a cozy bonfire by the lake was postponed to a cozier day to be outside. Instead, we went for a brisk walk with the youngest dogs and had a sweet and welcome cup of hot chocolate after to let our body melt again from the inside out. For Ravasz it’s too cold to take a long walk. We tried as he still wants to, but once outside feeling the wind, he really did not look happy and even hurted himself in the snow. I quickly brought him back inside, warm and cozy and gave him a Kong with some cheese instead. ?

On Friday we visited Comedy show “How to become Swedish in 60 minutes”. So funny! It was the perfect timing for a show like this We are still new enough not to be completely absorbed by the Swedish way of life and living here long enough to laugh out loud with the Swedish characteristics. I must confess, the chance that I will ever be a bit Swedish is rather non- existing. Especially my allergy to the word ‘lagom’ is problematic :-).
The funniest word of the evening: “mumsfilibabba!”

And by now, the second week of the 40-days blogging challenge is over and I didn’t miss a single day! Hurray! All participants are in a facebook group where we can discuss this challenge or get inspiration and it is super interesting to see how everyone has their own strategy to accomplish this dreadful mission.(just kidding, it’s fun) Well, many have a strategy, a schedule and planned messages that are ready to be released to the world, … and I … open my laptop every day, stare at the glowing screen for a while and write something. Didn’t I make any plans? I tried a little. I made a list of concepts for the two blogs and every day I pick a subject. But I didn’t manage to create content weeks in advance. Also, longer blog posts about a photography topic can take more than a day to write as I create photographs and do research before or in between the actual writing.

And now it’s almost midnight. Time to publish this message and join the 4 snoring creatures here to the world of dreams.
Goodnight
!
