Yesterday, on the real Tuesday, I had planned a quiet evening writing this weekly blog. I made some tea, got the computer,… and then realizes something was wrong.

Just before we had fed the dogs. Ravasz and Mogwai in their food puzzle and Oona in the Wobbler. And then, just when I wanted to sit down to write, I noticed that Oona was gone. I tried to find her in every corner of the house, under the bed, in the basement,… everywhere.

I jumped in my boots and ran out, trying to find her. A quiet darkness looked back at me. No sound. No Oona.
I tried squeaky toys, food bags, yelling,… but I probably only woke up my neighbors. It’s weird how many worst-case scenarios one can imagine in a situation like this. It made me check the lake twice. Going as far as I could, shining a light on the thin ice and listening carefully if I could hear any sound.

While I stayed around the house, Joeri started driving around. And suddenly when he left for the second time, I heard something in the bushes. “Oona?” I asked (and hoped that it wasn’t a moose). I squeaked the toy and called her again and yes there she was! All muddy and a bit quiet, she wanted to go right into the house.

After a full checkup, she had to take a shower to wash away her sins of the night 🙂

Luckily, most days are just nice and calm, with lots of spring sunlight and fun little adventures.#TongueOutTuesday (15), dog photography project, weekly photo project, dog photography Sweden

The sound of spring arriving in Sweden:

Now the snow is melting, the earth is showing from underneath. Still cold and wet from winter but slowly getting ready for a new season. Soon the greens will take over from the whites, but I hope the blue will stay 🙂
